Holy Cow Company, an organic clothing start-up, wanted an e-commerce site that boldly communicated their brand in one look. We avoided the usual trappings of “green” design that often involves pastels and cutesy graphics. Taking a cue from Target Corp’s use of red for retail, the entire site was given a red background and the logo was inverted onto it. Clean white content layout displays available products. The product photos themselves would communicate the organic element of their business with models and products photographed on brick backgrounds and natural settings. Project included wireframe and flow planning of the store user experience.
